Important information

This plugin requires a static IP address (Default is 10.0.0.1).
Every change to the server IP MUST be reflected into the plugin's menu file.

Pinguy OS is a free computer operating system for x86 based PCs based on Ubuntu Linux.

Linux Installation Instructions

Download pinguy1204-ARCH-XXX.tar.gz to /

https://sourceforge.net/projects/erpxe/files/plugins/

extract pinguy1204-ARCH-XXX.tar.gz file:

tar -xvzf pinguy1204-ARCH-XXX.tar.gz

Download Pinguy ISO Latest Version to /mnt/ :

http://pinguyos.com/download/

Mount ISO file to temporary location (/mnt/cdrom/)

mkdir /mnt/cdrom/
mount -o loop /mnt/Pinguy_OS_12.04-shell-ARCH.iso /mnt/cdrom/

Pinguy x86: Copy initrd.gz , vmlinuz , filesystem.* to appropriate directory: (LOWER CASE ONLY!)

cp /mnt/cdrom/casper/vmlinuz /tftpboot/er/plugins/pinguy/i386/vmlinuz
cp /mnt/cdrom/casper/initrd.gz /tftpboot/er/plugins/pinguy/i386/initrd.gz
cp /mnt/cdrom/casper/filesystem.* /tftpboot/er/shares/pinguy/i386/casper/

Pinguy x64: Copy initrd.gz , vmlinuz , filesystem.* to appropriate directory: (LOWER CASE ONLY!)

cp /mnt/cdrom/casper/vmlinuz /tftpboot/er/plugins/pinguy/x86_64/vmlinuz
cp /mnt/cdrom/casper/initrd.gz /tftpboot/er/plugins/pinguy/x86_64/initrd.gz
cp /mnt/cdrom/casper/filesystem.* /tftpboot/er/shares/pinguy/x86_64/casper/

Verify files with filelist.txt in each folder.
