Important information

This plugin requires a static IP address (Default is 10.0.0.1).
Every change to the server IP MUST be reflected into the plugin's menu file.

Matriux is a GNU/Linux Ubuntu/Debian based Security Distribution designed for Penetration Testing and Cyber Forensic investigations.

It allows the user to include customizable scripts, additional tools and configurable kernels in personalized distributions.

Linux Installation Instructions

Download matriux12-XXX.tar.gz to /

https://sourceforge.net/projects/erpxe/files/plugins/

extract matriux12-XXX.tar.gz file:

tar -xvzf matriux12-XXX.tar.gz

Download Matriux 1.2 ISO Latest Version to /mnt/ :

http://www.matriux.com/index.php?page=download

Mount ISO file to temporary location (/mnt/cdrom/)

mkdir /mnt/cdrom/
mount -o loop /mnt/Matriux-Krypton-v1.2.iso /mnt/cdrom/

Copy initrd.img , vmlinuz , filesystem.* to appropriate directory: (LOWER CASE ONLY!)

cp /mnt/cdrom/live/vmlinuz /tftpboot/er/plugins/matriux/vmlinuz
cp /mnt/cdrom/live/initrd.img /tftpboot/er/plugins/matriux/initrd.img
cp /mnt/cdrom/live/filesystem.* /tftpboot/er/shares/matriux/live/

Verify files with filelist.txt in each folder.

All Done!
