This plugin requires a static IP address (Default is 10.0.0.1).
Every change to the server IP MUST be reflected into the plugin's menu file.

PelicanHPC is an operating system based on the Debian Live which provides a rapid means of setting up a high performance computer cluster.

It was formerly known as ParallelKnoppix.

Linux Installation Instructions

Download pelicanhpc28-XXX.tar.gz to /

extract pelicanhpc28-XXX.tar.gz file:

tar -xvzf pelicanhpc28-XXX.tar.gz

Download PelicanHPC ISO Latest Version to /mnt/ :

http://pareto.uab.es/mcreel/PelicanHPC/

Mount ISO file to temporary location (/mnt/cdrom/)

mkdir /mnt/cdrom/
mount -o loop /mnt/pelicanhpc-v2.8.iso /mnt/cdrom/

PelicanHPC: Copy initrd.img , vmlinuz , filesystem.* to appropriate directory: (LOWER CASE ONLY!)

cp /mnt/cdrom/live/vmlinuz /tftpboot/er/plugins/pelicanhpc/vmlinuz
cp /mnt/cdrom/live/initrd.img /tftpboot/er/plugins/pelicanhpc/initrd.img 
cp /mnt/cdrom/live/filesystem.* /tftpboot/er/shares/pelicanhpc/live/

Verify files with filelist.txt in each folder.
