This plugin requires a static IP address (Default is 10.0.0.1).
Every change to the server IP MUST be reflected into the plugin's menu file.

stresslinux is a minimal linux distribution running from a bootable cdrom, usb, vmware or via PXE (wip).

stresslinux makes use of some utitlities available on the net like: stress, cpuburn, hddtemp, lm_sensors ...

stresslinux is dedicated to users who want to test their system(s) entirely on high load and monitoring the health.

Linux Installation Instructions

StressLinux 0.3.1 is the only official PXE version available for download.

Download stresslinux031-XXX.tar.gz to /

Extract stresslinux031-XXX.tar.gz file:

tar -xvzf stresslinux031-XXX.tar.gz

Download stresslinux-0.3.1.pxe.tgz to /tftpboot/er/shares/stress/

Extract stresslinux-0.3.1.pxe.tgz file

tar -xvzf stresslinux-0.3.1.pxe.tgz

Copy vmlinuz to appropriate directory: (LOWER CASE ONLY!)

cp vmlinuz /tftpboot/er/plugins/stress/

Verify files with filelist.txt in each folder.
